SECOND CHAIR.Office resources

Your first two useful weeks

Start with one recurring office job and the person who will check it. Add another role after the first job becomes useful enough to repeat.

Before setup

Bring the accountable owner, the reviewer and a backup. Choose a recent task and explain the current handoff. Use the blank handoff sheet to record who acts and when.

Review the subscription total, initial term, setup responsibilities and support contact before agreeing to a service. The current minimum is $398/month standard or $378/month founding: the $299 workspace and included Chief of Staff, plus at least one paid role at $99/month standard or $79/month founding. The initial term is six months, billed monthly, then month to month with 30 days’ notice. Founding role pricing is locked for 36 months. Confirm the actual offer and terms with your church’s decision maker; no subscription is started by using these resources.

Check Setup before drafting

The owner checks the campus address in Setup. Visitor basics takes its street address from that setting, so an old sample address must be corrected before the owner confirms the profile. Check the public page’s regular gathering times separately from special-event schedules.

Bring suitable sources

Keep staff calendars marked Staff only. Do not bring pastoral-care, children’s or youth, donor, HR or counseling records for this initial work.

Week one: check one useful draft

Use Your jobs to see what is ready and what is missing. Add the requested input rather than asking the staff to guess. In Your work, the named reviewer checks the source, audience, details and next step, then edits, approves or discards the draft.

Compare the illustrative source and draft and the fictional reviewer’s correction. Approval is a review decision. Copying or downloading does not record use. When approved work is really posted or sent, record where it went with I used this. An honest zero is useful information.

For the Front Door answer sheet, approval is its defined milestone. An owner must still designate the sheet for public answers. That approval does not prove a guest received an answer.

Week two: repeat and measure

Bring the next suitable input and repeat the job. Record setup, review, corrections and administration separately from waiting. Note where a person had to rescue the process. Review actual use before deciding on another paid role; no upgrade is automatic.

Before expanding

Ask for evidence of the access, delivery, billing, export and deletion paths your church will rely on. Confirm who handles a blocked task and how to reach them. Review Privacy and Terms with the person responsible for trust. These educational resources do not certify those workflows or promise a measured result.
